GETTING BUSY

Get the countdown timer start ticking!

We've got more or less fifteen more months to go for the most awaited camp in the history of CBYFP (okay, I'm being subjective here..hehe!)--- but well, I can't deny it. Many people have told me that they're going to miss the annual CBYFP Camp, and that they're really longing for the Camp in 2011...well, who's not? =D

It may feel a little awkward to be spending the summer without the youth camp--that is, if you're used to spend the last week of May with your fellow CBYFP youth every year. That's gonna have to change a bit this year, now that we'll be holding our camp biennially, but hey, cheer up! The good news is that we'll get the chance to do a lot more of activities and likewise get ourselves involved in our own circuit/kasapulanan camps. So, I guess by now you're kind of wondering what CBYFP has in store for you this 2010 until 2011.

As of now, two major things... (but, there's going to be more soon!)

First, we--that includes you--are going to be actively participating in the CPBC Biennial General Assembly this year. This will give us the chance to really feel being a part of the CPBC. How many youth usually get the chance to actively and consistenly join the General Assembly? Not that many. So, if you have never attended the CPBC Assembly, this year is your chance!

The CBYFP won't miss being a part of the CPBC General Assembly. We hope to get a slot in spearheading an activity during the Assembly this May. If our proposal will be approved by the CPBC Board, we want you to be a part of the endeavor.

So, start jotting down the important details listed on the previous blog post (see JOIN 2ND CPBC BIENNIAL GENERAL ASSEMBLY).

Second, the Youth Board has already started planning for the first ever CBYFP BIENNIAL CAMP (something you don't want to miss in 2011)!

Sneak peek: the Camp's gonna be bigger this time... Prepare for the unexpected and get ready for an exciting and upgraded CBYFP Camp!

There are still so many more things to prepare for. Of course, to make everything possible and successful, your support is needed as well.

In your own little way, being a member of this organization, we sincerely hope that you would pray for our 2011 camp, especially as we plan for this big event; and, if you have any suggestion for the camp, please don't hesitate to share your concern.
